Minor Complaint About Editboard

sometimes, you get these crappy pop-up ads that get in the way of things.
When you get one of these...you can't hit a page number on a multi-page thread, and hop right to that page...you end up having to click on the thread itself, and bring up the first page only...because the page numbers, usually clickable...become unclickable when the crappy ad is in the way.

Not all ads do this...just the ones that appear in a place other than the normal place or banner ads here.  I get one for Snickers, all the time, and it is one of the ones that cause problems.

UPDATE: Now I get them from Penske Trucks, too...because, of course, I am planning a move, and so looked up a number of moving-truck companies, among them, Penske.

By October, I should be in North Carolina.

I got one of these just now. My fix was to refresh the page, then it went away. Annoying, but doable.   

Yeah, you can refresh the page...and hope you get a page that does not have the annoying ad.

My point is someone really needs to tell Editboard that these ads are blocking normal Board functions.

Assuming someone is taking these issues to editboard, when I forget my password, press the forgot password, put in my userid and email, press submit, NEVER did it ever send me an email! That's an issue. Can someone please fix that?
