I am hosting a contest. The reward, sorry no cash, something better, TrackPoints !!!!

Here we go. We still need a few states more to get a hit in all states site-wide.

From now until March 31st 2010 there will be 25 TrackPoints extra for the first site wide hit in the states:
AL,CT,DE,MA,NE,RI,TN,UT
And 50 TrackPoints extra for the first site wide hit in the states:
ME,NH,SD,VT,WY

You have to be signed up to the forum, and you have to post the link to your hit in this thread to receive your Bonus TrackPoints.

I have at least a bit of an advantage to get CT, DE and MA.

RI, ME, NH and VT are tough, even from my home region. I am likely to get UT and TN before getting any of those four.

I wave the white flag when it comes to SD and WY, especially during non-summer months.

That is an odd concept. How will it show in our list? If some note about it is not posted people that do the math will think it is a mistake.

yes thats true, did not think about that, but the math is hard to do anyway, because of the bonus point of 20% of your hit rate. This is calculated at the time of the hit and is constantly changing.

So what do you guys think?

Is cash better? (at least I get a few hits while mailing cash around) lol.

I can't talk for everyone but I don't come here to win prizes. Bragging rights is good enough for me. Some kind of permanent list of who accomplished the first hit in every state would be cool as long as it was done in a way not to clutter up stats. Perhaps list it with personal achievements. I am not in favor of physical prizes of cash or material goods but that is just my opinion.

True, well I guess I will start worrying about all that when really the first new state comes in by March 31st.

The 1st hit of a state might be a good idea as a new feature in the Achievement List.
