I'm hostng a contest

$ 10 to the person who gets the most new counties in January 2010 per total bills entered.

For instance, I will have around 1,600 total bills entered by the end of January. If I get sixteen new counties in January (unlikelly) my ratio will be 0.01.

Anyone who can beat my ratio will recieve $ 10.

I am starting the contest NOW so that everyone can get some TrackDollar currency in circulation and generate hits.

If by some off chance I win this donate my $10 to Markus through the Help Trackdollar.com link.

It is just days away from the beginning of my contest! I hope everyone spent lots of cash for Christmas.

Don't be too sad - I will run a similar contest in the future.

I have already realized that December might be a better month than January to run this contest - people are getting cash from the banks to spend for the holidays, so a higher likelyhood that your money will circulate. In January, all that cash goes INTO the vaults.

January is officially over. I had ZERO new counties and "only" 10 hits for the entire month, all of them local.

Anyone who wishes to report their total number of new counties for January, please do so. I will declare a winner and close this thread in the next 7 to 10 days.

My opinion on the matter is you should send it to Markus. For one the Barron never posted to this particular thread and therefore was never a participant. Also Markus owns, runs and pays to run a server to keep the site going. Who better to give it to. However it is your contest and your money so it is up to you what to do with it but that is just my opinion of what to do.

I appreciate your insight, Matt. The point may be moot in any case if The Barron does not respond to my Anon Email.

She rarely responds to e-mails so that is nothing new. I highly doubt she would give you an address to send it to anyway. In this day and age I can hardly blame her.

You are correct, Markus, but Matt already offered to turn his winnings over to you to help run the site.

Yes my one new county was something like .29% of all bills entered and Marcus' 5 bills was something like .08%. It would be silly to mail it to me so I can mail it to Marcus so you might as well mail it directly to him. If you haven't found it yet the address is in the help trackdollar link.
