A contest idea that fizzled
I got a hit yesterday in my 33rd county in Virgina. "Not bad", I thought to myself. That's nearly 25 % of the total after just 18 months.
So I wondered just how close Virginia was to generating 1,000 total hits...
Ugg - it looks like my collegues here in the Old Dominion have only generated 217 total hits.
Bummer. I was hoping the 1,000 hit threashold would make a good contest. Arizona, Arkansas and Texas have already passed that milestone thanks to the power users we have (and have had) in those states. California is fourth with a measly 225 hits contributed and VA is fifth.
Now, back to thinking about what the next good contest will be ...
