also counts towards another bingo - sometimes I multitask by entering such bills on zip trips and it paid off

on a 2017 G FRB, which I didn't have a hit on at the time, but I got one in the meantime (on that 14606 bill above)

55 - 19702 - 1st in Delaware
56 - 10036
Back to 10018
Also, 39, 41, 46, 47 were my first in those counties and 20003 is one I had used on WG before hearing about TD so catching up to my WG count

Re: New zipcode
I did 20 or so at some of the early zips but I was down to a couple per zip by the end
Even when I had the bill supply I sometimes had time for only a couple per zip.
Re: New zipcode
58. 13803 - 1st in Cortland County NY
59. 13045
60. 13141
61. 13084
Plus back to 13208 - most of the return trip was a slightly different route but this was the same

Update from 2019, I have 501 different zip codes now.Jack002 wrote:So these are the zip codes you have entered from?
I have just one.
As for zips I got hits in, I see 321. That doesn't seem like a lot.

I hadn't (yet) memorized all those DC zips, so I looked them up. Many, many DC zips are "building or agency specific".Alan From Rochester wrote:

20515 is the US House and office buildings supporting
20540 is specifically the Copyright Office (falls under the Library of Congress)
20543 is the Library of Congress and Supreme Court building
20015 is Chevy Chase MD (northwest of the DC border) - does Trackdollar equate this to DC?

Yeah with all the building specific DC zips, I got a lot in a very short walk
20002 also includes Union Station, where I was headed, so I didn't need to enter more bills there, saving my unentered stack for other ZIPs once I got on the bus
I mistyped, I actually used 20016, so I don't know how TD classifies 20015
also, I counted 10018 (sliver of Manhattan including bus terminal near Penn Station) twice so I had to go through and renumber the list

And 10018 - http://www.trackdollar.com/report.htm?url=BH70E4463AD3C0B7231E61E41E4151490227FDE01B
I count 36 with hits, and 25 without, which matches with counting 61 as my overall total before

Re: New zipcode
I don't foresee any new zips in the city itself, unless I wander in a different direction. Yet I don't have any hits on bills entered there and I only did a few bills per ZIP
I'm setting aside bills I want hits on for bingos, so I can multitask on that and a zip trip
Also, I'm taking Amtrak the entire route both ways instead of Greyhound for most of it, so I'll get to some different zips in transit; the ones I revisit on the way will also be few entered without hits
Rochester - 14605 is one of my occasional zipcodes even in ordinary life
Syracuse - revisit 13208
Rome - 13440
Utica - 13501
Amsterdam - 12010
Schenectady - 12305
Albany/Rensselaer - revisit 12144
Hudson - 12534
Rhinecliff - 12574
Poughkeepsie - 12601
Croton - 10520
Yonkers - 10701
NYC Penn - 10001 [would be my first in that part of Manhattan]
[Would be my first in NJ - 5th state]
Newark, NJ - 07102
Newark Liberty - 07114
Isselin - 08830
New Brunswick - 08901
Princeton Junction - 08850
Trenton - 08609
[would be my first in those parts of PA]
Cornwells Heights - 19020
Philadelphia North - 19132
Philadelphia main - 19104
[would be my first in Wilmington, or that Newark ZIP]
Wilmington - 19801
Newark, DE - 19713
[would be my first in Aberdeen]
Aberdeen - 21001
Baltimore - revisit 21201
Baltimore airport - revisit 21240
New Carrolton - revisit 20784
DC Union Station - revisit 20002
20510 for the Senate offices would be a new to me ZIP in the Capitol neighborhood

My TD marking is orange rectangle front left, red circle back left, margin handwriting.
My WG purple circle front left dark blue three line back right
Most of my spending was at Audi Field and the Florida Avenue Trader Joes, plus a few Georges at subway farecard machines
NY
13140 for ZIP 62 - one of the few locations I could identify as the train passed. 1st in Cayuga county NY

66. 13440 Rome - 1st in Oneida county

68. 13365 Little Falls - 1st in Herkimer county
69. 12010 Amsterdam (1st in Montgomery county)
70. 12305 Schenectady (1st in Schenectady county), 1st on this trip where I entered more than a couple bills

73. 12574 Rhinecliff (1st in Dutchess county)
74. 12601 Poughkeepsie
75. 10520 Croton (1st in Westchester county)
76. 10701 Yonkers
77-80.
10001,10021,10121,10123 Manhattan

10016,10022,10119 Manhattan
84-85. 07102,07114 Newark, NJ
86. 19104 Philly
Was out of bills to enter and low on already marked bills by Sunday
I did get a few in 20560 but didn't have a chance to mark them, so some stealths for ZIP 87

I have some catching up to do - I only have 19. Someday I'll have to do a ZIP trip over there to pick up DC, MD, DE, and NJ. I think that's all I'm missing down thataway for entries.

Re: New zipcode
One of the bills from my October trip to DC got hit a few weeks ago, my first on a bill entered in any DC zipcode
37th zipcode with hits out of the 97
20002 is a major DC zip, a large area in the northeast - so it wouldn't have been as hard to get on a return trip - but means that I could save some of my bills to enter supply for the harder ZIPs.

Will try to save up bills which I want hits on for bingos in the next few weeks of strap searching, to multitask in what I enter on the trip
ROC airport is 14624, one of the local ZIPs where I don't have hits
DCA airport is 22202, would be my first in VA
Itinerary includes
DC zips I haven't used before - 20005, 20009
Revisiting DC zips where I don't have hits - 20003,20024 - perhaps 20016,20515,20540,20543 in/near Capitol complex and 20560
On the way home (train stops)
revisit 20784,21240,21201,19104,07114,07102
new 21001,19713,19801,19132,19020,08609,08901,08830
Also a stop in 07029, with 07105 between that and 07102

25th
98. 22202 - 1st in VA
DCA airport. Entered a lot here as I don't expect to be back (flew in, taking Amtrak out)
Could get signal at a few of the subway stations on the way to the city center - 1 bill each
99. 22209
100. 20037
101. 20005
102. 20004
Hotel is here, gonna get a lot there
103. 20009
104. 20001
Just noticed hits on a couple bills from my trip last December

26th
105. 20010
27th
Bank haul included some 2017A E $2s (which I don't have hits on yet), some other consecutive bills (which makes zip tripping easier)
It helps that Chase ATMs down here give out $1s (so did those in Baltimore when i was there last summer)
28th
Chase branch on 14th St got me a lot more bills in 20005 (a table with chargers did not hurt)
Turns out there's also a Citizens branch in that ZIP (at I and 14th, didn't know they had any in DC - apparently it's new and the only one, though I saw a few listed in the suburbs)
106. 20220 (Treasury Building next to the White House)
107. 20230 (White House Visitor Center, also Department of Commerce)
108. 20500
227,250 and 228 listed for various government buildings arond 12th and 14th Sts, C St and Independence Avenue, including BEP DC, ironically only had FW bills to enter)
109. 20227
110. 20250
111. 20228
30th
112. 20059
113. 20060
59 is Howard University, 60 is their hospital
114. 20011
115. 20782
116. 20740
Looked up ZIPs for far reaches of subway line my hotel is on - includes 4 in MD (I had 6 mostly in and around Baltimore) and 2 DC neighborhoods I hadn't gotten to yet
117. 20742 - 20740 is College Park MD but 20740 is the University of Maryland itself

I had listed 116 but counted 117 on My Bills Summary
12144 Rensselaer NY (1st in namesake county) never made the list. It was between 12305 as #70 and 12534. So 46 ZIPs were off by one in their position on the list
Lots of looking through my bills and renumbering
Also, ended up taking a different route back from 20742 so hadn't looked up ZIPs or set aside bills to enter

Re: New zipcode
119. 20748
120. 20746
121. 20006
Last and second to last green line southbound stations are both 20746 but it was easier to ride all the way and catch another train back rather than stop at the second to last and go somewhere else
122. 22201
123. 22203
124. 22205
125. 22043
126. 22180
127. 22041
Similar idea, west end of the Orange Line.
22041 was one of the 18 ZIPs I had used on WG but not TD - had lived/worked/shopped there at a time before I heard about TD
Subway station is nowhere near my old apartment and I wouldn't/couldn't walk a few miles just to look
1st
128. 20012
129. 20910
130. 20902
131. 20906
132. 20017
133. 20018
Northeast branch of the Red Line this time, and like before some ZIPs in outer DC and the inner suburbs
Amtrak to Newark, revisited several ZIPs including 20784 New Carrolton, same as the east end of the orange line
134-135, areas train passed through north of Baltimore. 20218, 20237
1 entry at a lot of them - limited time and limited bill supply
136. 21078 Havre de Grace MD (1st in Harford County)
137. 21921 Elkton MD (1st in Cecil county)
Train mostly travels through industrial areas, if developed at all, occasionally I see a business name and thus zipcode I can identify
138. 19713 Newark, Delaware train station
139. 19801 Wilmington station
140-141. 19121, 19134 - passing through Philly
142. 19007
143. 08609 - Trenton station
144. 08830 - Metropark Station in Isselin
145. 07029 - Harrison, NJ (Red Bull Arena)
2nd
146. 07105 Newark
Low on bills to enter and most of the ZIPs on the way home were ones I had already. Reused 18424, otherwise that was it.
What a week, 50 new ZIPs plus the non currency tracking activities

148. 14694
https://ny.postcodebase.com/city/ROCHESTER?amp=
This site lists addresses associated with a zipcode, which I used to figure out where some unique ZIPs actually are
14638 1 East Ave, but Google shows it as the Kodak Hawkeye site on St Paul next to the Driving Park bridge
14639 HSBC Bank buolding which was bought/renamed by Five Star Bank
14644 Xerox Sq now Innovative Square
14646 180 Clinton Ave / 100 Midtown Plaza, former Midtown Plaza site is close to 180 *South* Clinton and 180 S is a bigger building than 180 N
14649 89 East Ave (Rochester Gas and Electric HQ)
14694 Aqueduct Building 50 E broad St
14652 Kodak Park 1699 Lake Ave
14652 is in the 14615 neighborhood (and 14653 is surrounded by 14624) but the others are all downtown, had a chance to visit some of those today
