Re: New zipcode
Return trip to the Eastview Mall LEGO Store includes many more bills entered in 14564. It was in 24th place with 10 bills. I had 114 $2s ready, and also entered 18 $1, a $20 and a $50 I got on my way. Now the zip is in 11th place.
Re: New zipcode
Return trip to 14627, already had a hit on one from last time so mostly stealthed
101 bills, 3 $1, 97 $2, 1 $5
It's on the way to/from the dentist so it's a good thing that I'm going there less often lately.

Re: New zipcode
Visiting relatives in 14467. Never entered bills there. Bringing my stamps and several dozen small bills. And full charge of phone.
Re: New zipcode
For Thanksgiving we went to a restaurant in 14445. Brought 64 new Toms, ease and speed of entering consecutive bills particularly useful on mobile and when busy with something else.
31st zipcode, 21st by number of bills entered
31st zipcode, 21st by number of bills entered
Re: New zipcode
Visited a lot of different locations around the Rochester area lately. got 2 more ZIPs - 14624, 14626. Also made return trips where I'd entered bills without hits - 14611, 14615
site was down most of the time I was in 14624. bad timing. Entered most of the bills I brought in 14611, would've rather focused on 14624 because it would be easier to revisit 14611 later

Re: New zipcode
Visiting 14450 Fairport NY later today. That will be my 34th zip, and 5th that doesn't say Rochester NY (many of the 146xx zipcodes are in a suburb at least partially, though)
Re: New zipcode
So these are the zip codes you have entered from?
I have just one.
As for zips I got hits in, I see 321. That doesn't seem like a lot.

You seem to be doing just fine as far as I can tell.
(A) Your hit rate is over 10%, that's nothing to be sneezed at.
(B) Spending your bills in different times/places seems to be more important than where they are entered.
My findings:
- The vast majority of my hits don't travel more than 50 miles.
- Urban areas seem to be more of a marked cash black hole. Even though not as many people spend cash these days, there is still a LOT of it floating around that my puny amount of marked bills disappear.

Re: New zipcode
Yes, these are zipcodes I've entered from. I don't keep track of how my zipcodes my bills have ended up in, just where they've started
on the 14th:
already got a hit on one of the 14450 bills - http://www.trackdollar.com/report.htm?url=BH48DE7F02EBF5861E2159D0267969713A1FC6D823
On the 15th:
added 14650 and 14651 for 36 entered
revisited 14638 and 14647 where I previously entered bills but without hits
I also like revisiting rarely used zipcodes if feasible even if I already have hits on bills entered there before
entered only a few bills in each. maybe I'll have more time and bills I want to mark next trip, and focus on only a few zipcodes.

Sweet! I have some catching up to do!
Judging by your entries map, I thought you had already passed me!...
Not yet. I'm just under a hundred behind you. Keep driving new routes and adding to your numbers.
Not surprisingly, 3½ years later have bumped me up a little bit. I'm now showing 2,075 ZIP codes (which includes entries in 4 countries) across 27 states in which I've entered bills. One of my Top 10 favorite things about this site is the Bills Entered - All County Map which tracks my entry travels. Sure, it's not fun for the monozipcodic among us, but I get a big kick out of it. But there are sooooooo many more to get!
Thanks to Alan for bumping this thread again.

Re: New zipcode
Congrats. Those zipcodes sound pretty odd for a midwesterner. We like ours to start with a 6.
Re: New zipcode
I finally entered from my 25th zip code just a week ago. I'm definitely too much of a homebody.

Re: New zipcode
Just got my first hit on a 14647 bill, now 26 for 36
http://www.trackdollar.com/report.htm?url=BH7DEB4231DCC2BC2F146DE5134C5C440B2AF0ED16
That zip is a block from where I work so it was easy to enter a lot more there
As for the 10 I'm still missing
14638 wouldn't be too much of a detour on the way home - 14650,14651,14615 not much further if I'm already headed that way. 14611,14643,14624,14626 are further in that general direction.
14642 and 14692 are both in separate directions
06 and 25 are the regular 146xx zips I haven't entered in yet. 06 is near many of those ZIPs I want to revisit, but 25 is a different neighborhood entirely.
There are some special zips where I can't find the associated location
There are several 144xx and 145xx zips that would be an awful long haul by bike

just got my first hit on a bill entered in 14651, makes sense as I had been entering a lot there past couple weeks.
now I can at least focus time and bill supply on other zips on that route

Re: New zipcode
made several return trips to 14638 and 14650 lately.
got to 14643 once but as per Murphy's Law that's when the site went down. only the 1st entry of my batch of 20 went through and I entered the rest in 14638 and 14615

Re: New zipcode
again, site goes down while I'm in 14643, so only 1 bill entry goes through. still a successful trip. several entered in 14611 and 14606, a few in 14638 and 14615
had a CU strap of $2s to work with, bill #11 entered in 14611 and so on

Re: New zipcode
went all over the city last night
finally entered a significant quantity of bills in 14643 - 3 $2 (see below) and 23 $1 (what I had left of a strap)
had 3 CU straps and part of a 4th to work with, so could do bill XX in zipcode 146XX 3 or 4 times over: 06,11,15,38,50. also a dozen or so $1s in 14650

This is very cool. Every time I get a note with 000 as the first three digits, I fantasize about saving it - and all others - to travel around this country on my lottery winnings to enter them in their correct ZIP code. Then reality sets in and I just enter it and move on with my life.

Re: New zipcode
was the energizer bunny once I got off work and on the bike. covered both east and west side of the city, often do 1 or the other.
might do this bigger and better Saturday when I have more time. maybe can get to where the 14602 map pin is for a new ZIP. It's PO Box only , not sure what physical post office serves it
I've thought about that myself. I have found or traded for bills for a couple local zipcodes and entered them in the right area. I sometimes trade away other such serials and perhaps the buyer wants them to enter.
random straps are more realistic substitutes.
It's one way to spread out the stack of bills when visiting multiple zipcodes

Re: New zipcode
Got to 14602 on Friday. 38th zipcode.
Also got a hit on a 14615 bill. 28th zip with hits

Re: New zipcode
Site was down much of while I was out last night. Got a few bills entered in 14611 and none in 14606 instead of dozens of each.
The site loses entries when it doesn't work. Some I marked with the other site some I TD'ed later in my normal zipcode which is a real bummer

Re: New zipcode
Just got a hit on a 14643 bill - 30 for 38

forgot to mention 14650 for 29th with hits a few days ago - http://www.trackdollar.com/report.htm?url=BH78E64931D3C1BD29106BE0164959410A2FF6E813
with it getting colder and darker I'm much less interested in zip tripping
would give time to get hits on what I already entered so I wouldn't have to focus on those next trip.
14602,14606,14611,14638 all were on my recent routes
14624,14626,14642,14692 don't have hits either but haven't entered as many there and not recently so I'm not expecting as much luck there.
