New zipcode
I was visiting a friend last night in 14619. This is the 22nd zipcode I've used here. Swapped out for some bills he had and entered pizzeria change. Didn't bring my bank straps - or my stamp, marked 'em later.
Last time I entered bills in 14619, it was before I had discovered TD. I have WG hits on bills I started there. I used to travel around the area specifically to enter in different zipcodes. Maybe I should do that again, at least come spring.

Re: New zipcode
LOL, I have exactly THREE zipcodes for bills entered on TD
18353 - Saylorsburg, PA...where I used to live
27591 - Wendell, NC...where I now live
and
33040 - Key West, FL...where I was on vacation and ran out of marked bills. So I marked some there.

Re: New zipcode
Got the idea from a thread on the WG forums, and there are some places I visit anyway, like this.
14622, my hope zipcode, is 76.5% of my entries.
14617 is right in the neighborhood, including the local library. That's 17.5%.
I pass through 14607 and 14609 fairly often, about 2% each.
21 is right near me, and 10 is near 07 and 09, but without many places to enter many bills.
Besides that, handfuls from some other local zips I'm in rarely.

Re: New zipcode
I wanted to go somewhere in 14616. On the way, I stopped at a library in 14612 and entered 76 $1s and a $2 for zip #23. I'll enter a small amount on wifi at the place in 16 for zip #24. Hopefully I can stop by the library in 16 another time. I might be able to stop by a bank in 12 on the way back. Always nice to tap a different supply and not bother the same tellers. The bills entered in 12 are from one of my usual branches.
Re: New zipcode
I live in a very little town. Unless I happen to already BE in Raleigh, I am not going that far outta my way. I'll just bother my usual folks in Zebulon. They never mind accommodating me. Of course, I have both my personal and my business banking with them, so of course they never mind accommodating me.
Re: New zipcode
Only entered a $20 and 2 $1s in 14616.
Most tellers are cooperative, but I don't want to push my luck or make a problem worse. Note also "tap a different supply". If I'm in the same branch constantly, I probably got their goodies already and they have a lot of my own bills which I might get back.
I rarely leave my neighborhood just for banks, but often stop in if I'm somewhere else anyway.
I rotate which neighborhood branches I check. I also go at different times of day, to see other tellers and spread out where I go soon before close.

Re: New zipcode
Had an appointment this afternoon. The place is in 14612. I was hoping it was in 14616 or a totally new zip, but I still entered another $20 there.
I got the bill in 14580, but didn't have time to enter it.
I have 22 bills entered there without hits. Granted, they're mostly stealthed with a few WG marked. I wasn't paying attention to zip stats at the time.
I got a pair of hits on the 14612 bills already - that makes 11 zips with hits

Re: New zipcode
Not really all that sure what the fascination with Zip Tripping is, but to each their own, I guess.
For me, it just seems like too much of a bother.
I DO try to spread them out when I spend them, ya know...a few in Wendell, a few in Zebulon, a few in Knightdale, some in Raleigh...try to sneak a few over the borders into Nash, Franklin, and Johnston Counties...all of which I could throw a rock to from my front porch on a windy day...and that oughta give anyone who cares to look at a map of North Carolina...a pretty good idea where I live...almost at the junction of the three mentioned Counties, but I live in Wake County.

Re: New zipcode
The WG thread on the topic - http://forums.wheresgeorge.com/showthread.php?86796-Laptops-WiFi-and-ZIP-codes
1350? There are a few Georgers in that order of magnitude.
I have 50 on there - 34 in Monroe County, 5 in 5 other NY counties, 8 in 8 other states, 3 in DC

Re: New zipcode
Got 14564 today - my 25th, 1st outside Monroe County (just into Ontario County).
10 bills - 8 $1s, 2 $5s. Evenly divided between WG and TD marked. As usual, bills marked with one site were entered on the other.
I was going to the LEGO Store in Eastview Mall, entering bills to take with me, and realized I could enter them there. I already entered a $10 at home but did 4 $1s once I got there. My total was $25.77 - I used $40 (rather than $40.77) and took 2 $5s instead of a $10. This meant more bills to enter and an even division between sites.
If I had planned to zip trip as well as shop, I would've brought more unentered bills with me.

Re: New zipcode
Happened to pass through 14614 yesterday. Zip #26
9 bills - 3 stealth (2 $1, $10), 6 $2 (4 TD marked 2 WG)
Near my new job and a bank with WiFi, so I should be able to make a few return trips

Re: New zipcode
I am at a stall at this time, not driving trucks right now. Ended back on 2/25 with 1441, 79851 Sierra Blanca, TX (Hudspeth) being the last one.

Re: New zipcode
So since you're not traveling for work right now, you're not zip tripping like you used to?
Re: New zipcode
Second guess - you're exhausting your supply of accessible zip's? been there done that.
Amongst other things, my library job means a lot more bills entered in 14604. That's now in 6th place with 498 bills, very close behind 5th, and in the same order of magnitude as 4th and 3rd. I entered a few bills in 14619 last week, and a few in 14608 yesterday - next time I go I'll be able to enter more. I entered a few in each awhile ago, but without hits, and I like entering in zipcodes besides my normal ones anyway.
I work until close every day except Thursday. Other nearby branches are open later the other days of thew week - 14608 Monday/Wednesday, 14619 Tuesday.

Yes, my local ZIP's are spread out for miles. I have a few more in Maricopa county and in Pinal county, where I live. Most of them are off of the beaten path, so special trips need to be made to get to them. I have a WG gathering I am attending this weekend and may try to hit some of the Pinal county ones west of I-10 along I-8, maybe into Yuma. All depends on how late we get done in Casa Grande. I did go to Tucson last week and got 18 of them, some PO Box, and another a couple of weeks ago in Maricopa county for a town called Palo Verde.

Re: New zipcode
Entered 54 in 14608 yesterday, about tripling my total for the zip. Probably the whole site's total.
Zip tripping sounds hard enough with a car, let alone a bike like me.
I suppose you get a PO Box Only zip by going to the PO that serves it.
That's how I got 14692 on WG - it's only for the main Rochester area post office. 14602 has the same location, so which zip would I use there?
Likewise, 14603 is located at the 14605 PO.
Rochester also has several single entity zips and sometimes it's hard to get a clear answer on what building those refer to.

Re: New zipcode
14643 - 32
Single user ZIP for JP Morgan Chase. The downtown branch also has the local zip, 14604. The bills going there tend to be stealths so a hit is unlikely.
Google Maps puts that ZIP as a school southwest of downtown, but any other source uses the local zip of 14606 for that.
14604 - 19
14608 - 23
14619 - 35
Library open late because of the heat, but 14608 was on the way and I got through much of my stockpile there

Re: New zipcode
Not sure how many zipcodes I lost in the big outage, but I did lose a lot of entries.
Recently entered 1 bill with 14613 and 2 with 14603.
Already have a hit on bills entered in 14621, but I've made a lot of return trips there lately. The library there is usually closed after work, but it's often open late recently because of the heat.

Re: New zipcode
My first new zip in awhile - 14627. On the University of Rochester campus, including a Chase branch, and the lobby of that building has a large table an wifi. Was prepared to use my data plan, glad that not necessary.
At 28 zips now, 13 with hits. Lost a lot of bills/hits to the outage but not whole zipcodes or they were easy to revisit.
