A Possible New Map For TrackDollar Profiles

I sent this along to Markus, to see what he thinks, but I'd like some input from others as well...what do you all think of this??

I did this map myself, if you recognize it as being similar to the map we are using on the County Contest, then you are right...but I spent 2 hours wiping out all the county lines, leaving only the state lines.

Thought you all might like this map for TrackDollar....I think it looks real nice...and it has insets for ALL of the U.S. Territories...and a place to note Military Hits as well.

Are there still going to be counties? Will they only show up when a hit in that particular county is hit? I do think the legend will have better colors that will make it easier to follow.

Of course! This was meant as a possible replacement for our current States map...not the County Map in our profiles!
and it would be up to Markus to decide...I think, if he used this...we would still get to pick and set our own colors - as we currently can...in our profiles...also we can set our cutoff numbers for each color.

I know it is a little late to say this, but i would actually prefer the map you made

Meanwhile, you can copy it, color in your own, and use it on your profile if you want to.

It would not, of course, auto-update, at least not until - and if - Markus decides to use this map, and programs it.

You might send Markus a note about liking this one...if it gets enough support, he may do it.

i currently use this one on my George profile, since I'm not a FOG, and do not get his maps. I like mine better than his, anyway. Besides, it's just plain fun to color in maps.
