Cooperative County Challenge - September/October Hits

Welcome to the 2013 Version of our County Challenge.

Interesting stats for 2013:
In 8 states, we are ahead of last year.
In 5 states, we are equal with last year - 2 of those are Bingo States, can't do better.
In 20 states, we are within 10 percent of last year.
In 17 states, we are more than 10% away
Our worst state is Michigan, where we are down nearly 42%

Thanks, tim for the idea about percentages, so we can get neat little stats like this.

This year, there will be a few changes from the 2012 challenge:
1. All Counties hit in 2012's Contest - but not yet on 2013...will be colored white, Counties never hit in Contest will be gray. When a white County is hit in 2013, it will be re-colored to it's correct month color.

2. The Spreadsheet will also show dates of hits for 2012, so that one can compare for Counties that also get hit in 2013.

As with last year, there will be no individual stats, no prizes, no winners, no losers, no entry fee - contest is open to all who wish to participate - however the individual must choose to participate. You can't post up other people's hits - if you do so...and the person whose hits they are, posts to authorize this, that will be okay. but the person to whim the hits belong MUST at least post to authorize this.

As with last year, we will attempt to fill in as many Counties as possible. In 2012, we managed 948 Counties, let's see if we can beat that!!
We got State Bingos in Delware, Arizona, and New Jersey last year!

Next Update will be approx October 15-20 or sooner.
After the white Counties (2012 hits) are hit in 2013, they will be colored according to their month.
We have achieved nearly 22.1% county coverage so far!! We managed 948 Counties last year!!  Let's beat that in 2013!!
We have hit 233 Counties that were unhit last year.  We have hit all 50 States plus DC + PR.
BINGOS: AZ, DE, HI - With 714 counties to date, we are averaging about 84 per month!  Projection: 1008 for year.

It's actually an Independent City, but it counts none-the-less!

It is pretty small in area and is not all that easy to get a hit there - congrats on your first VA hit!

Looks like my summer trip to Louisville is finally starting to really pay off for me.

It looks like we got alot of Lincoln county's lately, I hit two of them myself.

I went through Buffalo a couple of times, but didn't have a chance to see the falls. I need to get there one of these days.

Tony: You scored one in County Carbon, Utah? Sweet.  Have you many other hits in Utah? Consider entering the Utah Counties Hit List.

I have a total of 187 hits in Utah. Just over 2 years ago, I drove from Phoenix to Portland, OR, and spent/deposited over 1000 bills in Utah. I'm still getting hits from those bills.

This one's HUGE!!

This one enabled me to add 12 PA counties, 11 OH counties and one WV County to my Home Glob. My glob just grew by 24 counties with this one hit.
