Stacks lost in time...
I just bought 4 stacks of 50 $1's at my local bank in which 189 of them were 1995 series, 4 were 1993 series, 4 were 1988A series, 2 were 1985 series, and 1 was a 1981 series. Have anyone else on here ever come across anything like this? They were all in pretty great shape also.

Now that is pretty weird.
Nice find!

Not so strange, just a case of someone not rotating the currency or someone had it in their safe for awhile. I don't get straps from the bank to enter into the site but I do work in retail, it is not all that uncommon to once in a great while get a strap of bills that are a bit older. It is not usually just too far back 5-10 years old could easily happen.

Lol, but that's what I'm talking about...these bills are all more than 20 years old!
Anyways, a nice find

yeah, probably someone cashing in an old stockpile or something like that. Could be a collector sorting their rejects by series before depositing them and you got an old portion of that pile. Either way, I'd check with that branch/teller for more.
