Thanks, Tim, but getting hits at all is just luck of the draw, let alone where they are.

Re: East to West: Connected!
Well, tony, it is no accident that one tends to get more hits closer to home.
You being in Arizona are much closer, therefore, more likely, to get hits in West Texas, than, say, I am.
But that is the beauty of this...ANYONE could get one there. Just gotta get lucky and have your bill carried there.
Unless I am very mistaken, tony, you tend to travel extensively throughout the West, and this presumably helps you spread bills all through the western part of America.
Similarly, it's not an accident that North Carolina and Illinois are high-hit states for me, as I travel to IL and NC fairly frequently.

You're definitely right on getting most of your hits close to home. I do travel frequently, but I've only gotten to Austin and San Antonio since starting TD. I'm thinking some of the hits I'm getting in these small, low population counties in TX are from truck drivers getting my bills.
Any time I go to the west side of the valley, usually for a sporting event of some kind, I stop at the Flying J on I-10 and top off my tank. The drivers are spending those bills along I-10 and I-20.
I don't keep track of where I spend my bills so I'm just taking a guess about how those bills are getting into TX.
I just like that we connected from coast to coast finally. Hopefully one day I can do it personally. But that is still a few years away.

I think it is awesome that we connected east to west as a site.
Part of why I started doing the County Challenge was to see just how much we could collectively hit n a year.
Which is why I really would like EVERYONE to participate in it.
