Messages in Outbox

How long do they sit there before they send?

Hi,

the old version of TrackDollar did use a direct mail, but I changed this to connecting to the normal SMTP from 1AND1.COM to make sure that emails do not end up in some SPAM Filter because it was not authentificated by a standard SMTP.

The server software is sending emails from the internal outbox every 60 seconds.

Does that include private messages from user-to-user in these forum?

Hi,

private messages from user to user in the forum are saved on the forum server only.

I have no control about how fast the email reminder are send to the user receiving the private message.

I am planing anyway to write my own forum software, so that a TrackDollar user is automatically signed up to the forum either since it is all in one software.

The forum now is using a free service form Editboard.com.
