The IP address comes out of Mexico City, anyway, so it's probably the real deal.

It is a pretty common location in Mexico where US funds are accepted.

True enough...definitely a tourist location. I have travelled internationally before and have found that, in most tourist locations, American dollars are accepted. Even in Bangkok, Thailand. Not so much in out-of-the-way places...although the border towns of Mexico...like Neuvo Laredo, where I have been...American dollars are actually the desired currency, over Pesos.

I used to spend Fourth of July every year in Nuevo Laredo - where they put on an awesome celebration. I fuiggered, why not, I celebrate cinco de Mayo here in America...
Of course, this was back when I lived in Texas.
