Text Message Notification Weirdness....

OK...before anyone gets the wrong idea (Matt...cough, cough...) let me state up front that THIS IS NOT A TRACKDOLLAR PROBLEM!!!

But it IS affecting the text notifications I am getting from TrackDollar.

I recently upgraded my phone to a Droid 2 by Motorola.
Ever since I upgraded, it was cutting off the City my hits came from.
Instead of getting (for example) "hit no 2 on a 1 bill in Chicago(Cook), IL-US" (which is what you should get)
I was getting "[Cook],IL-US" - AND THAT'S ALL!!

And YES, it shows up as brackets instead of parenths!

So, I did a little experimenting on my own...I have figured out that the Droid 2 has a real problem handling parenths in Text messages.

I sent myself two messages off my email:

Message 1 - "hit no 2 on a 1 bill in Richton Park(Cook), IL-US"
Message 2 - "hit no 2 on a 1 bill in Park Forest[Cook], IL-US"

What I got back:

Message 1 "[Cook], IL-US"
Message 2 "hit no 2 on a 1 bill in Park Forest[Cook], IL-US"


SO...it seems that it would be helpful for Markus to change the text notifications so that the county Name is in Brackets, rather than Parenths...so that I will get the full and complete information on the hit.

This is also happening to anyone else on here using a Motorola Droid 2.
I have reported the problem to Verizon Wireless.

I'm also sending a note to Markus about it.
