June/July 2011 Contest

It has been far too long since I have hosted a contest, thanks, Markus for getting my brain engaged on the topic again.

Predict the date and time of TrackDollar's 11,111th Unique Hit.

Closest to the actual date/time is the winner of a $ 10 prize supplied by me.

On June 21 at 10:50 am EST, Unique Hits = 10,530. Trackdollar has been averaging 500-600 Hits per month for the last 9 months or so.

No additional guesses will be permitted after August 1, 2011 at 12:00 am EST.

Hey not to step on your thread, but I had an idea for a few other contests, if you would like to run them...

Currently, of the 50 states, in the County Contest, there are three holdouts: MT, RI, and VT.

How about contests for those three states...guess in which order they will fall...extra credit for guessing date of fall, person who gets it, and which county is gotten.

For extra credit, I forward the guess that Jackson Stamper will be the one to get it.

Sure, but that is just VT.
Can't believe STILL no-one has hit the bugger. I got Clinton county, NY, which BORDERS VT....

EDIT: I just looked...Ya know...Darrell has hit VT. He's the only one. but he hasn't stepped forward to claim his prize.

TD goes by Eastern. The correct time zone.

Hits and entries are posted based on the time zone where they are entered, not Eastern time.

whatever. but tim is going by Eastern time. no other incorrect time zone was mentioned here.

I just don't want this to be in any way ambiguous.

Sorry, but I AM competitive. VERY.

I've got my handy-dandy calutator that helps me add and subtract up to 3 so that I can calculate the difference in time zones.

No one outside the lower 48 is alllowed to participate because my calculator only goes up to 3.

It looks like this contest will be over on Sunday the 18th or Monday the 19th -- just 80 unique hits to go.

It's looking like Tony will win this one.

Well, it coulda been anyone there was no way for a power user to game it.
You SHOULD, however, close off all future guesses on this...if you haven't already.

No fair someone coming in an hour before Tony's guess now that it's close. THAT would be gaming.

P.S. is there anything for the extra credit, my guess being that Jackson Stamper will gt the 11,111th unique bill?

'Course, if there is, and I were to win it, say 5 bucks...I'd just pass it along to Markus.

After this one, Tim...how about a contest for the 12,345th unique bill hit?
