Re: May/June Hits: Cooperative County Challenge 2012
EXCELLENT!!!
With the hit in Wood County, OH...we can now tie Electric Red's glob in with the superglob that is mine and tim's. Now we have a three-person superglob!!
Now if we can somehow manage to hook up with tony...
Heck, it'd help if Markus were playing this year!!
Re: May/June Hits: Cooperative County Challenge 2012
Good luck with us connecting the east and west coasts. It still hasn't been done site wide, let alone for just this year. We need at least two counties in Texas to be able to connect coast to coast.

Re: May/June Hits: Cooperative County Challenge 2012
Yup, I see that.
In fact, we have only five site-wide State county Bingos...Hawaii, Arizona, New Hampshire, Delaware, and New Jersey.
I personally have New Jersey and Delaware, all by myself. I'm not sure we'd have NJ site-wide without me.
Likewise, Arizona for tony...doubt we'd have AZ if not for tony...and Dave.
We'd probably still have DE without me. Not sure who gets credit for NH and HI.
Interesting spread of states for the state Bingo...seeing as how only AZ is a resident state of a fairly active member.
NJ, of course, borders me, and on a good day, from where I live, I could throw a rock into Jersey, but I'm still in PA. No, not really, a bit of hyperbole, I couldn't REALLY toss a rock into Jersey, but my home county does lie on the NJ border....it's actually about 12 miles east.
DE, of course, on the SE border of PA...fairly easy for me to get. CT is driving me nuts, I feel like I oughta be able to Bingo CT and MA. VT is also driving me nuts as a Hitless wonder...I'm beginning to wonder if VT actually even exists at all!

I'm thinking, when I run this next year...to start out with all the previous-year counties hit in white, instead of gray. they could still be claimed in the next year of course...and change to their right color when they are...but it would show what had been hit in the last year as well as what was hit in the current year...maybe we CAN finally connect coasts...be interesting to see how long it takes.

I like the white versus gray idea for next year.
My top choices for counties I would like to see come through:
First on the hit parade would be Starke Indiana - it connects the greater Chicago area to the TERK (Tim/Electric Red/Kalisiin) CC.
Beginning of Northwest Passage: Racine or Walworth Wisconsin ties in several counties in southeast WI. Iowa or Lafayette county WI, along with Grant WI would be helpful in reaching the mini CC in eastern Iowa.
From there, yikes! Too much empty space to predict.

Yes, the white would be hit in the past but not this year (thus could still be claimed) versus gray would be "never have been hit." - and of course could also be claimed.
