Strap Stats

Every once in awhile I get a strap of Ones (circulated) from the bank.

Today's haul was especially note worthy...In the middle of loads of Series 2006 and a few 2003A...

Series 2003 - four
Series 2001 - one
Seires 1999 - one
Series 1995 - two
Series 1969A - one

That bill was printed between 5/8/1969 and 2/10/1971.

Treasurer Dorothy Andrews Elston Kabis died while in office 7/3/1971.
The other signer was Secretary David Matthew Kennedy who's term was 1/22/1969 - 2/10/1971.

There were only 21,760,000 I-A Ones printed in that Series. Not too many of those left in circulation after 40 years. Hmm, this one might have to go into my collection....

Meh... Severeal months ago I bought a brick from Bank of America, and in there was a $1,000,000 bill with Bush's (the most recent) portrait. I've toyed with the idea of cashing it in for 1,000 more bricks, but this one is one-of-a-kind
