2015 Cooperative County Challenge - October Hits

Sorry. My internet connection was acting up again, and when it's been working, I felt too busy to be interested in updating the Challenge.

With all the "easy" counties taken in the first 3/4 of the year, the final 3 months don't have as many un-hit counties.

I could "split" the topic and change the title - and I have tried that before and I didn't like the result. So, "October" will remain open until Alan decides to publish a new thread.

My plan is to update before the end of the month and post a rest of November/all of December thread.

Yeah, Challenge activity has lessened as the year went on.

I just noticed Darth's 11/11 Alaska entry and put that in the spreadsheet along with the few hits since my last post.

I have been busy and procrastinating, but the shaky internet on my home PC isn't helping. I have offline copies of maps and county list, so I won't need to check the thread again to update the maps. Hopefully I can do the maps this evening, and if my internet is still down, upload them form the library tomorrow.

Does this portend the end of the Community Challenge after this year has ended?

While I'm committed to finishing this year, I have wondered whether I want to do it next year.

If you are not continuing it next year I suggest trying to pass the torch. I cannot do it, not enough time but perhaps someone else can take it over. If you are going to do it that would be awesome. I will still be doing my annual map either way but if there is no 2016 then it will be my last annual map. Thanks

Not my finest hour - or weeks.

Logan, WV was already colored in on the map for May, but wasn't already marked in the spreadsheet. I gave it the December color. No nearby counties were mismatched with the spreadsheet, so I'm not sure what happened.
