There is another town near Normal, Illinois, called Oblong, Illinois.
Every once in a while, you'd get a wedding announcement in the paper: "Normal man marries Oblong woman."

I live about 20 minutes from Hell, Michigan. Unfortunately, they do not have there own zip code. They use the zip code for Pinckney, Michigan of 48169. Been there many times. Not a whole lot there. An ice cream shop called Screams, a gift shop called Hell in a Handbasket, and a tavern called Dam Site Inn. There is also a chapel where people from all walks of life go to get married!!

My new home is less than two miles from Lizard Lick, North Carolina.  But, like Hell, Michigan mentioned above, Lizard Lick does not have it's own zip code...it shares MY new zip code, 27591 - Wendell, NC.
Those who have ever seen the TV show "Lizard Lick Towing" - this is where they are located.  Which means I have to be extra-sure to make all my car payments...I sure as hell don't wanna get licked!  

I have NO INTENTION of being featured on that show, LOL!!

I have NO INTENTION of starring on their show!!
Believe me, the car payment just went up to priority number one, LOL!!
But, yeah...those guys lot is about two miles, as the bird flies...from our new home.
It's about five miles by the roads, because we live three miles down a road that has no outlet on the other end...so only one way in....conversely, one way out.
