Email and userlist hit counters off by one

The hit counter in hit notification emails and on the User List page is one hit lower than I actually have.

My Bill Summary lists the correct amount. My Hits lists all the bills with hits.

I have 45 1-hitters and 2 2-hitters for a total of 49 hits, and in some places I'm seeing 48. Earlier today when I had one less 1-hitter for a total of 48 hits, I saw 47. I don't know what it was like before that.

Unfortunately, Markus does not often log on to the Forum, usually, he will see it quicker if you post him a private note.

Done. I figured some other users might also have an idea what's going on. The situation is still occuring.

I see.  Well, I hadn't noticed this, but I also have been on a three-day dry spell.  I doubt if anyone else here would know what was going on or WHY...but it might be nice for you...if you knoew if this was happening to others...or only to you.

EDIT: I looked at my last Hit Notification, and my totals match. The amount I have on my profile is also the amount noted in the Notification email.

There is ONE possibility, though, come to think of it...if you recently had a fake hit removed. But if that is so, it seems to me that this should eventually resolve itself, and, from what you are saying, it does not seem to be.

I cleaned up the database on 1/1/2014, most likely during this time a dirty write happened.

Anyway, counters should be refreshed now.
