Auto-Fill Maps Going Live!!

Maryland has come on line.
Don't see Delaware or DC Zips yet - just sent Wisconsin along to Markus.
Currently working on Oregon.

Wisconsin went live!

Oregon and Utah have been sent to Markus.

Any requests?

EDIT: UPDATE, Still looking for OR, UT, and DE to go up. I am now currently working on the six New England States, which, if Markus and I can work it out...will appear as sixc states all on one map.

OR and UT have gone live. No word on DE.

I have sent New England along to Markus, all six states on one map.

I have finished, but not yet sent, CO.

I'm thinking of doing NM, and NV - then moving off Southeast to grab MS, AL, and GA.

I have CO and NV done and ready to send...will send it along with NM once I finish NM.

UPDATE: CO, NV, and NM have been sent to Markus.
I believe the next place to go is GA, AL, MS, TN, and IN.

After that, we will see.

I'm wondering ... the aspect ratio looks odd for DE and OR (and to a lesser extend IL, LA, MD and WI) ... any thoughts about if they can/should be chaged?

It looks like Texas is still first in the heart of our admin since it is resisting being resorted alphabetically.

That is up to Markus, as far as the aspect ratio.

I'm doing the detail work of doing all the county lines and making sure that they don't have screwed up colors that impede the fill...and getting the county labels in non-true-type format that will also not impede the fill function.

All the maps I got...from the same place.  I have no idea whether Markus can render them in better aspect ratios or not, I suspect this is a function of programming, and that is on Markus's end.

OR...you can do what I have done on my profile, and then you can adjust aspect ratios on your own - I can even give you the profile coding you need to do it.  Then you can also order the states in any order you want.

For example, I lead off with my current home state of PA - with NJ right next to it.
Below that is my new home of North Carolina - where I will be next year.

Then FL and IL, two other states I have lived in, then
TX, where I also lived,
followed by Kentucky, where I also lived.

But if you look at my profile you will see what I mean.

My Delaware is looking a bit big now, because I haven't played with the aspect ratio yet.

UPDATE: I have now adjusted the aspect ratio on Delaware in my own profile. I have it showing, currently, next to New York.
I may change that later, not sure. At any rate, you could put any state you wanted right next to another state...and play with the aspect ratios - if you know how to code it in your profile.

You can also then put them anywhere in you profile you want to...include/exclude any states you wanted to, etc etc etc. Lots of ways to play with this.

I would welcome your insights on the aspect ratio and sorting. I'm not in a huge hurry and may not bother to change anything if a few attempts don't yield the results I'm looking for.
