track points

I was wondering how track points are awarded.
I see people with one bill entered and no hits 11 track points and others with 9 bills entered but only 9 points.

Track Points
you will receive Track Points:
a) 1 Point for every entered bill
b) 1 Point for every hit PLUS 1/5th of your hit percentage (10 points max)
so if your hit percentage goes up to 16% you will get 1 Point + 3.2 Points for every hit

Cylon, in your case, you recieved your first hit right around the time of your 1,600th entry. So....

a) 1,600 points for the bills you have entered.
b1) 1 point for the hit
b2) PLUS (1/5 TIMES your hit rate (0.1) EQUALS 0.0002)

In the "b2" case above, Marcus takes anything between .0001 and .0099 and turns it into .01

THUS, your current TrackScore is 1,699.01
a) 1,698 (Entered) PLUS
b) 1.01 (the hit bill and its bonus)

Everytime you get a new hit you potentially have a new Hit rate that can be applied in step "b2".
