Weird Strap Stats

I will occasionally trade in $ 20's from the ATM for a strap of circulated $ 1's.

Today's haul included, in order, EVEN sequenced serials ending in 38, 40, 42 and 44.

Now, I've had new-ish sequential bills in a strap before, but how (and who and why) did the odd serials get removed?

This is one odd hobby.

Were the crispies right next to each other? Sometimes I alternate CU's with regular bills to make them easier to count, and they might come out of order that way.

Would the odd numbers make for fancy serials at all?

I always do that...alternate crispies with regular bills...and for that very reason. Nice to know it isn't just me.

Never occurred to me that this could be the result...because, for me...the serials would be in order...I would do say
Cripsy 41, regular bill, crispy 42, regular bill, crispy 43, regular bill and so on.

I would not have alternated the serials to have only the even numbers like that.

Yea, the crispies were together, which made the find stranger in my view.

I also interleaf crispies with non-crispies so the new bills won't stick together.
