Got a batch of 3 Tom hits yesterday, yay. The 2nd is my first on a 1995 - a common category, so I wondered why I didn't have a hit on one of those yet.
Also got 2 unrelated $1 hits that day - that's a good day for me.

Re: Clump of 3 $2 hits
Congrats! I don't get hits on these much at all and can never find any to enter
Re: Clump of 3 $2 hits
LOL, I SAVE my $2 bills.
Iknow, I know...they AREN'T rare....but it is what it is. I just remember getting them from my grandma all the time in holiday cards with the oval cut out so you could see the dead President's face, you know?
Anyway, I tend to save my twos.
But here's some fun you can have with twos, if you are so inclined...
Go to a fast-food place, ring up a bill of nine dollars and change....give the cashier a five and three twos and then step back and watch their head explode!!
They can't seem to wrap their little brains around the idea that you get a dollar bill plus coin change back.

Twos are like bears
There was a funny analogy of twos on the WG forum.
Seems threads would start up over and over and people falsely assumed that twos were rare and valuable (The new ones)
Others who knew they weren't keep coming back and saying they aren't. People tend to think so because you don't see them that much.
It seems that they live at the bank. Retailers don't like them as a rule, they deposit them with the cash deposits and then they sit in the bank.
Some hobbyist like us will come along eventually, ask for them at the bank, enter and mark them, spend and before you know it, bam, back to the bank they go.
So the analogy goes like this:
Twos are like bears. When they ARE seen out in the streets, someone captures them and puts them back in the zoo, till one day a few more escape and the process starts over.
This was shortened to "Twos are like bears" and everyone knows why once they'd heard.

Funny.
But I don't take them back to the zoo I keep them in my own personal menagerie.
Re: Clump of 3 $2 hits
Cashiers are sometimes confused when you pay with an odd amount to get an even amount of change back, whether or not $2s are involved. Say your total is $4.20 and you give them $10.20 to get an even $6 back, they might expect an even $10 to make the change $5.80. Sometimes you need a $1 or $5 to make an odd dollar amount with $2s. A $1 is less confusing there for some reason. And breaking a $2 is kind of funny.
Seems I either find very many $2s or very few - maybe Jack002 is stuck on a drought.
