Without hits on my entries, total TrackDollar hits for each of the last 19 months would have been under 1,000.

Darth, there is no way I will ever have time to enter as many bills as you, but I would like to know how you mark your bills? What are the condition of the bills you mark? Just curious!!! Can you post a picture of one of your marked bills with the serial numbers blocked out (or send one through private message if you want). I would love to increase my hit percentage and any tips would be appreciated!!!

What I'd like to know is how the f*** do you have time to mark all of those, and enter all of those...unless you are doing all uncirculated straps with serials in order...
And what I'd like to know is how the f*** you're so wealthy as to have access to that many bills.
Unless you're marking and dumping. Which is ok here, but taboo on WG.
Here, there are no rules.

Re: 2014 Stats & Achievements
Not sure how it works for Darth, but I can speak from my experience.
Yeah, consecutive serials make bill entering much easier. I tend to have a better month in December when the holiday money shipments are around.
I lean towards entering more lower denomination bills. I stealth a lot. I take my stealths to banks for more bills to enter. At stores, I trade small bills for large bills, or break large bills for small purchases. All this helps me get more bill entries out of the same dollar value. But still, more money to begin with helps.
Even though I can dump here, I avoid doing so. I think WG has the right general idea there even though they're too strict about their rules.

So, basically, you're entering a ton of bills that you don't mark...in order to run up your TrackPoints...."dumping" those...and marking others which you then spend normally (i.e. not dumping) right? (I use the phrase"dumping" lightly here, if the ones you are turning back into the bank are not marked)
Which drags down your hit rate....from all the entered bills that are not marked and therefore will likely never see a hit (My opinion is that stealths really only work to get hits on WG...because there are a lot more users there, so you get a much greater chance)
Not my way of playing the game, but to each their own.
By the way, Alan...have you ever gotten a hit on a stealthed TD bill? I'd be curious to know!
You still are by far my most productive TrackChild, lol.
Re: 2014 Stats & Achievements
I'm intrigued with Darth's bill entry map, makes me want to guess that he is a trucker.
For myself, I could probably get 2-3 times as many entries into the system and have tried it, but I don't think it really suits me.

Since you asked so nicely, sure. And by the way, the entering part is the easiest of all (next to spending, of course). Acquisition and marking are far harder!
I went ahead and posted some pics in the "How do you mark your bills" Forum. I have hundreds of unique marking styles I utilize, so these are just to give a general idea of what a Darth Slurpee bill will look like when you run across one in the wild.
My marking style is designed to maximize hit rates, but I doubt many people would be interested in dedicating their time to replicate this. Entering, updating, printing, stamping, writing, validating and updating again, I will sometimes touch a single bill/Bill Report 12-15 times between acquisition and documenting where spent. Honestly, I don't recommend my approach to anyone, but this is my hobby and I really enjoy my results.
One of the things that I think leads to more hits is a combination of the professional (printer and/or stamp), the personal (handwritten comment), and instructions on what they're expected to do (Serial # and Series; Currency Tracking Study).
I also try to acquire as many uncirculated dollars as I possibly can. They'll simply be in circulation longer than used bills, and that increases the potential for hits. I have stats upon stats proving this point, not the least of which is my hits/entries rate of 57.4% in ZIP code 38111 — 116 hits on 202 uncirculated dollars entered there. That said, I always inter-leave new with used, but I plan my spending ($13 on each gasoline purchase) whenever I can to ensure that more New than Used dollars get spent. So my actual ratio of new:used is slightly higher than 1:1, but not by much.
I hope that helps. Any questions

Yep, the bills taken to a bank are generally nonmarked.
I got a hit on a stealth $2 once, but it was spent alongside some of my marked bills and I got a batch of hits.
@ Darth Slurpee:
Updating user notes can easily get to be a big pain. Since that doesn't affect stats, I find it easy to give up on. I often know how I'm going to circulate a bill at the time I enter it, so I can include that, only update if plans change or if I feel like *adding* information.

Oh, yeah, it's a major pain. I just like to convince myself that someone who hits a bill with an interesting user note might be just a little more inclined to hit any future bills they come across, or if they've gotten multiple bills from me, they might be curious why the others are marked differently and hit those, too, to find out why.
Keeping up with updating them everyday, like I'm trying to do this year, makes it much more manageable.

2014 saw the worst freaking winter weather in about all my memory in Pennsylvania...in fact, it is one of the reasons we chose to move when we did, to NC...my mom and I BOTH said we were NEVER going thru another winter like that!
Yet, all of 2014...we had over 1,000 hits a month.
What I still just don't get though...is how Slurp here can get more hits all by himself, than all the rest of the active users on TD together. I just don't understand how one guy can do that. I am sorry, but I just don't.
Unless Slurp has literally nothing else to do all day, every day, and dedicates sixteen hours a day to TD, I don't see how he does it. I mean, I thought of myself as fairly active here, and he gets more hits in a month than I get in half a year. Now just how the hell does that work?
Sorry, but I really wanna know how someone has ALL THAT MUCH TIME....and all that much money...and the ability to distribute all that much money. I seriously want to know. Because if there's something I can be doing differnt...hell, inquiring minds want to know!
Unless he's the equivalent to what is called a Commercial Georger....and he is our equivalent of Wattsburg Gary, then I wanna know.
Because, at least on WG, they seperate out the Commercial Gerogers stats from everyone else's...because they have such an unfair advantage. I mean..seriously. I am not looking to be number one or anything, but how the HELL do you compete with what Slurp here is doing?

Kalisiin wrote:… but how the HELL do you compete with what Slurp here is doing?
I didn't come here to compete with you or anyone else. I didn't come here to make you happy. I came here to enjoy this hobby for the satisfaction I get from it. Would you explain your rationale for why I should curtail my enjoyment of this hobby because your feelings are hurt you cannot keep up with me? If you're feeling inadequate when you see others succeeding, do something about it yourself…don't blame them. I have done and said absolutely nothing to you that warrants the posts you've made or the tone you've taken.

Did I say you should "curtail your enjoyment of this hobby?" Please tell me where I said that!
All I DID say is I'd sure like to know how in the hell you manage to have the time to enter all the bills that you do....and point out that NOBODY has the ability to compete with you on this. (And for the record, you have made several posts that seem to indicate YOU are fairly competitive...)
Did I say my feelings were hurt? NOOOPE. I never said that. Please tell me where I did?
Did I say I felt inadequate...or that you ought to care if I did? NOOOOPE.
You are reading a lot more into what I said that what I actually said.
By the way...I do apologize if you took offense where none was actually meant. But I DO have a difficult time believing anyone could have as much time on their hands...or as much access to bills as you do....so maybe if you would kindly tell us all exactly how you do it??
After ALL....maybe you have some good ideas that I or others here might like to imitate?

I have. But I wondered how you avoid circulated bills becoming jammed in the printer. Not all of us have easy access to uncircukated bills.
