Cooperative County Challenge - 2013 Homestretch Thread

Welcome to the 2013 Version of our County Challenge.  We are near the end of the year now!
This thread will remain open until January 5 to post any remaining 2013 hits.  Please do NOT post any 2014 hits here.
A new thread will be opened for that in due time.

Interesting stats for 2013:
In 17 states, we finished ahead of last year.
In 5 states, we finished equal with last year - 2 of those are Bingo States, can't do better.
In 11 states, we finished less than 5% behind last year.
In 9 states, we finished more than 5% but less than 10% behind last year.
In 6 states, we finished more than 10% but less than 20% behind last year.
In 3 states (VT, OR, MI), we finishes more than 20% behind.
Our worst state was Michigan, where we are down nearly 41%
**Note: total of 51 states because Puerto Rico is included.

Thanks, tim for the idea about percentages, so we can get neat little stats like this.

In 2013, we hit 853 Counties...315 of those were unhit in 2012.
In 2012, we hit 948 Counties.

Maybe electric red will share all his hits before the end comes. He is not participating, that is why Michigan is so low this year. I am glad I was able to rack up wayne county in IN before the end.

I sure would like to see him do that. I've several times invited him. I hope he will choose to participate next year and let bygones be bygones.

Yes Furb. Am doing this for 2014. And at the beginning of the year, all counties come open again.

I'm hoping for more participants, too, but we will see.
