Have you ever come across one of your own bills...in a far-flung location?

My personal best is running across one of my own bills in a purchase of bills from the bank in Tannersville, PA - about 15 mmiles by the roads, maybe 10 as the bird flies.

I've gotten three of my own bills back at the Wells Fargo I usually buy $1s from, but it's less than two miles down the road. Also, many of my coworkers end up with my bills, through other coworkers, but that's about it.

I've only found one of Dave's bills, the $2 bill that got me started on this mad trip to oblivion. And I've only found a couple of Darrel's bills, and never any of AZ Bundy.

I have never found any wilds, except my own.
I have traded with a few players here, and, of course, as per my personal rules regarding trades...trade bills are never hit by the recipient...merely spent.

I have never run across any of those after releasing them, either. The people I have traded with include:
tony
Vesuvius
Chavo
Kidgame
Of course, my mom is also a Tracker, you know her as YellowRose.
We have a rule about each other's bills, since we live in the same house. No hitting each other's bills...unless the bill is found more than 100 miles from home. I have never run across one of my mom's bills in the wild yet, though she has run across a few of mine...but all locally.

With all of the truck driving I did, I never ran into my own. However, aside from the now and then $2 I run across of my own which is expected, when on WG I started off stealthing all of my bills as my interpretation of natural circulation was not to bring attention to my bills. I finally caved about 3 months into it. Almost 2 years later, I actually ran into one of my stealthed bills at a place I worked at called Mi Casa Nursing Home. It happened to be in the petty cash. I immediately traded it out, took it home, and stamped it. Haven't seen hide nor hair of it since.

BOLO for mine on here. I have to stealth the bills at my current job, so there are plenty of those going around now, all demons except $2's, I will trade them out and enter them with a stamp... Very Happy

Nada for me. After 9+ years at this hobby, I've never once found one of my own bills that I released.

Once, I did find some of my bills IN MY OWN HOUSE that I had entered, stamped and misplaced (but had not released).

Wow. Not even in a strap from the bank?

I've found some of my own that way.

Sorry, but I'm oh-for 17,000 bills and counting. Part of that is the nature of where I live. Circulation is heavy and frequent in these parts.

I suppose that is true.
On the other hand, where I live...I have several time come across bills from the 1960's that look almost as beautiful as any 2009 bill.
