My 2nd Web Note
About a month ago I found a 1995 web note. I entered it, but didn't stamp it. I then sent it to my dad, who collects coins and has a few bills.
Well, last night while sorting bills, I found my 2nd web note. A 1988A "E-I." Again entered, but not stamped.
I know they're not worth a lot, but I always enjoy finding bills that are unusual.
Has anyone else found anything unusual lately?
Tony

Re: My 2nd Web Note
I found a 1963 and a 1969 recently, in the scad of bills I bought in preparation for my vacation.
EDIT: Actually, they are 1963A and 1969A.
EDIT: The 1969A bill is really rare for this site...my entry will be only the THIRD 1969A $1 bill entered...and of all denominations, only the fifth 1969A bill entered on this site.

The 1969 is a "rare" find. Only 8 are entered on the site, and a total of 29 for all five series from 1969.

Re: My 2nd Web Note
I'm sure i went through a number of web notes back in the day. they are the ones that look fake right? Anyway, If I did come across one now i would most likely not know it was a web note. i keep forgetting the identifying factors.

Forgive me for sounding stupid, but WTF is a web note?
Re: My 2nd Web Note
Tim had to tell me what they were. I've learned if you don't know, ask. That way you can usually learn something new.
Here's a link that tells about them. As the site explains, you only need to look at Series 1988A, 1993, and 1995.

Thanks.
Did not know about this before.
I'll have to look, I got a few bills from those years in the scad of bills I bought...have to see if any of them are web notes.
