Suggestion

Is it possible we could have the maps that go into our profiles...programmable by the users themselves...so that they could choose the colors...and the cutoffs?

Being honest, I do not like the default colors on the state map...not enough contrast.

That's one of the many things you'll love about TrackDollar as opposed to the other site, Kalisiin. Markus is always receptive to suggestions on how to make the site better and if it is an idea that he likes and chooses to implement, you usually see it online very quickly. This is a very friendly place to enjoy this hobby.

Well, it looks like this idea was liked and will be implemented...which I think is very cool!

If only I'd found this place first....

P.S. did also want to mention I like the flags on the bill reports, much nicer than at the other place, here, they are bigger, and appear to be waving, I like that.

new version online. Now that took the total of 7 hours testing included.

I kept the old version just in case.

Please check your "Edit Profile" Function, at the bottom you will find Color and Cutoff fields for State,All County, County and World.
Also the color of the graph bars is changeable. Note, there is a delat after hitting save and viewing the profile with new graphics.
The TrackDollar Server needs a few minutes to prepare all the new graphic files.

If you find any bugs you can keep them

BUG ALERT....

LOL...anyway. I was entering bills and noticed that my color for August needed to be changed for my stamp information. When I tried to change the bills I had already entered, it would not work.

I dunno. I am just glad we can choose colors now, because I am blind as a bat, and need large amounts of contrast to be able to differentiate. That was why I didn't like the old default colors...some of the colors were not of enough contrast that I could easily tell them apart.

Only buggy thing I ever noticed is, sometimes, when returning from updating profile and whatnot...you get a lot of weird random characters in the serial number spot on the bill entry form or the bill entry page.

It's not a big deal to just erase them, of course, but I wonder why those random characters show up?

They SEEM random, anyway, I just don't know it is a little weird, though.

sitting in a hotel right now. My computer and the rest of my belongings is packed and will be on a truck tomorrow.

So I cannot change the Server Software right now.

Dave: Can you just email the date from thru, or the entry numbers of the bills you would like to change. And the right color. I can change that directly on the database.

Same error also exists when sending a private message to somebody. Never got to it. However it does not hurt, not really a serious error. Just overwrite it. Will be around 7 days until I can program again.

Well, like I said it was no big deal, you could just erase or overwrite it...just that it was weird and I did not know what caused it...now I do. So, next time you program, just add emptying the buffer on the to-do list, and no biggie, right?
