TD definitely allows more than the 255 characters the other site does. (though there's still some limit - I copy/pasted til it got cut off and was 497 characters - maybe that's 512 or similar with a few bytes on the technical backend)

I'm very matter of fact about where the bill came from and where it's going but the extra space does give me more room to describe the markings and condition

I'm constantly bumping into the character limit and having to trim my user notes down. I put a lot of information in mine.
