Server Mainentance June 16/17

Hello, for your information, from my VPS provider:

We have scheduled upcoming maintenance to install updates that will improve
both the safety and stability of our systems. The maintenance and updates
will require that our servers be rebooted, possibly several times, which
will result in some downtime for your VPS.

Unfortunately we are unable to specify an exact time when your server may
experience downtime, but we are able to provide you with the details of the
maintenance window. Please view the maintenance window below:

Maintenance Window: 16. June 2015 to 17. June 2015 between 12AM and 8AM
EST.

Your server will be running and accessible during most of the maintenance
window timeframe, but will become inaccessible when the maintenance is
being performed on your specific server. The downtime is likely to last
between 10-60 minutes at a time, and may occur multiple times during the
timeframe above.

Now if your provider only knew what time zone they were in this time of year.

It says EST. Thing is...EVERYONE should be on Daylight time now. I know of NO PLACE on Eastern Time that does not do Daylight Savings Time anymore. It used to be that parts of Indiana didn't...and there was the famous Indiana question if you were on fast time or slow time. But I think Indiana ended up going full state Daylight Saving Time now. So it probably should say EDT. Not EST.

EST can mean either SAVINGS or STANDARD. "They" were tired of changing acronyms.
