which means I'll be spending $$ from a different location with a possibility of different travel patterns.
Anecdotal evidence suggests the money I spent near my previous job traveled further than the money I spent near my home.
It may also mean that I will be entering cash from a new Zip Code (as long as it is cool with the employer).

The broad answer is "computer programming" (same as always). The narrower answer is PL/SQL development on Oracle Databases, same as the last 10+ years. (but most people will give me the deer in the headlights look when I go that technical).

Actually, I am familiar with SQL. It's used in databases.
Good luck with the new job. Your job would drive me nuts! One little out-of-place semicolon, and the whole thing goes blooey!
Then again, most folks say that MY job would drive them crazy, what with the constant changing of Medicare regulations, LOL
