Give yourself a pat on the back -

December 2009 is not only the biggest entry month in the history of TrackDollar, it is also larger than Oct & Nov - combined!

Dec 2009 is larger than the first FIVE months of 2009 - combined.

Now, go get some New Years eve money into the system and push that Dec Bill Entry total even higher!

December Entires Most Ever Empty Re: December Entires Most Ever

Yes I know. the strange thing is some power user in my zip code came out of the blue calling herself the Barron. She entered 601 bills in 2 days. Funny thing is that she is not a trackdollar child of mine, not officially anyway. Perhaps she saw one of my bills in circulation and didn't hit it who knows? WG has no power users other than myself (I guess, I enter bills there sometimes but not with as much joy) This Barron came out of nowhere. I even anon e-mailed her to ask how she found the site and there was no response. Perhaps she is the commercial user we were looking for. only time will tell.

December made the third month in a row that had higher numbers than the previous month. It is a real sign of growth. If we average 100 bills per day or more this month that will make four in a row and set a new all time record month high.

December Entires Most Ever Empty I presume I can chime in here

Post  The Barron Sat Jan 30, 2010 10:47 pm

I did not come out of the blue; I came out of Barron which is in Barron County hence the name The Barron. I presume, to be gender and grammatically correct, I should change it to The Baroness but the thought had not crossed my mind at the moment I chose the name.

By the way, I rarely answer E-Mails although Markus and I have been trading a few letters about hit rate and goals. That Guy (sorry for calling you ‘This Guy” in a note to Markus) answered one of my proposed questions. That is about the sum total of my mail.

Now:

What is WG?
What constitutes a power user?

I certainly didn't mean you as a person came out of the blue but you as a trackdollar user kind of did. You climbed faster than anyone as of yet on the site and have most bills entered per day. Do as you wish with your user name but I think The Barron is just fine. I was really surprised to see another user in my zip code let alone one that enters so many bills. So how did you find the site? Was it someone's bill that traveled to our area or did you happen across one of mine and not enter it? Just curious. I handwrite in black ink on the top margin.

Now:

What is WG?
What constitutes a power user?
WG is short for Where's George it is another dollar tracking site but not as good in my opinion. Hank (WG owner) rules the site like a ruthless dictator. He takes away more freedoms from users the longer the site is around. He has banned people from the site and forums for seemly nothing. He does not allow you to deposit marked bills in a bank. That stems from a user who would take money out of his bank, enter and mark it then deposit the same money back into the same bank. people at the bank didn't like it and called the Secret Service. Hank then made that rule. It doesn't make a real lot of sense to ban all deposits of marked money since most money winds up in a bank sooner or later. You just don't want to upset the boss because of it no matter if it is a big bank or Pat's market. Most people don't care nor even notice some markings on money. Most of his rules held some logic though up until December 2007. Starting at that time he started banning all sorts of words from user notes. Why? Nobody ever got a straight answer out of him. He banned swear words, alright most people can understand that. However he also banned from user notes reverent titles and names of gods including but not limited to: God, Lord, Jesus, Jehovah, Yahweh, Allah, Mohammed and I think even Zeus also the phrase "support our troops" and anyone running for a high political office. Boy, he seems to want to offend everyone! So even though the word GOD is ON EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR ENTERED AT WG (unless crossed out) it cannot be used in a user note. The closest I got to an answer out of him is that it might make people think that the site promotes those ideas. My response was that only someone who was a complete idiot would think a user note represented what the site promoted. besides few people will ever see the user notes. Trackdollar has no such censorship. You can say pretty much whatever you want in the comments section of the entry page. I get from Markus that he will keep it that way too. Also Trackdollar provides many features for free that WG charges for like hit maps for example. Also many features are on trackdollar that WG does not even have. Trackdollar can be used in more places too. Many people don't know this but WG is blocked in many parts of the world that trackdollar is not so it increases your chance of seeing hits in more places. This is the best place to track dollars. You have made a wise choice. I was on WG for 6+ years so I know what I'm talking about. A power user is someone who enters alot of bills. How many constitute a power user is hard to say. I guess it depends on your viewpoint?that is how I define a power user.

Welcome to the site, Ms. Barron!... cheers Glad to see you are enjoying the site! I just notice you passed me in the ranks and are now 2nd in line! Keep on entering the bills, hope one wanders down south west of ya so I can hit it.

A power user also can be known as a commercial user, one who enters bills for commercial use. Always nice to have someone who does that, brings interest to the site much quicker.

Hey dctim,

Where do you go to see total bills entire per month, for the entire site? Or is this data that you've compiled yourself?

Thanks Matt.

So in January the number of bills entered exceeded Nov/Dec 2009, combined. If we can get 8,278 in this month then the same will hold true for February as well Smile
