You've GOT To Be Kidding Me...
Anyone here remember me saying I'd KILL for a hit in Montour??
We really need a mobile app!!
I saw this user note and just about wanted to die.
The bill ORIGINALLY said it had been found in Montour...or, more specifically, "somewhere in downtown Danville." The bill appears to have since had it's location changed.

LOL...if I was assured a Montour hit for doing it, I just might execute that program, LOL

TD in a mobile browser should work fine. An acquaintance of mine saw one of my bills and I walked her through what currency tracking was about. She hit the bill, but never registered.

Yeah, TD has a simple layout, so there shouldn't be too much to slog through on mobile.
Re: You've GOT To Be Kidding Me...
Wel, I sure wish the guy who hit that bill had first hit it in MONTOUR.....and then took it wherever....
Re: You've GOT To Be Kidding Me...
I don't know. you and I would like to have a mobile app, but the people who mostly hit our bills don't know about the site, they hit bills when they see them, they'd have no idea there was a mobile app. Most hitters of bills seem to not be members.
Just a thought

You're probably right.

I enter bills a lot on my phone when I'm traveling. Entering bills is simple enough on it, but trying to negotiate the drag down menus can be bit difficult.

yeah, entering bills on the mobile web browser is easy enough at least for a few bills, that limitation also applies to WG on mobile.

Montour is one of the seven "hole counties" in Pennsylvania.
there is a seven-county "hole" in the middle of Pennsylvania, that is VERY HARD to hit...largely because of the high concentration of Amish population. the seven counties are: Juniata, Mifflin, Perry, Snyder, Union, Northumberland, and Montour.
I currently HAVE Union, snyder, and Northumberland. I also have Montour COMPLETELY SURROUNDED now. so it's driving me crazy because it is a surrounded County.
Also, Sullivan in PA is the same way for me...totally surrounded, so I'd like to get it. But Sullivan is NOT one of the seven "hole counties" but it's still hard to hit as it is very rural. If you look at my map of PA hits...you will see the areas in PA that are hard to hit...seeing as how I have over half of all sitewide hits in PA. there's 2222 hits, sitewide, for PA, and 1237 of them are mine. My mother probably has the second-highest number of PA hits.
Here's my PA map so you can see what I mean...

Wow, well I understand about Montour now, but the hitter on the link just said he didn't know where he got the bill in Downtown (probably Saint Louis, MO). A lot of times I don't know where I got my money from. Good luck in your quest for Montour! Perhaps you should try getting on that Reality Tee-Vee show Amish Mafia that I've heard so much about.

Humm...either I posted the wrong hit...or someone changed the location of the hit. Because, as I remember it...the bill was hit somewhere near Philadelphia, with a note that it had been found in downtown Danville. and since I know that Danville is located in Montour County, and is probably the largest town in Montour...it freaked me out that the guy FOUND it in Montour, and tok it AWAY from Montour, and THEN hit it.
I think someone must have changed the hit location on this bill.
There ARE some spoofers of this site, and as I am not very popular on WG....it is possible a WG person got my bill...knows I'd kill for Montour, and faked the location just to irritate me. Later, this got found out, and the correct location was entered by Markus...and the user note changed to just "downtown" rather than "downtown Danville" as it had originally been.
See, anyone who really knows me, and knows what I do for a living would KNOW that I know Danville is in Montour County. The reason for this is that a large health insurance company, Geisinger, is headquartered in Danville. Since my job involves dealing with these insurance companies, I would know about that. I have even had to make trips into Danville before.
Over my time, I have dropped maybe 40-50 bills into Danville TRYING to get a Montour hit, but no luck.
In either case, I suspect this was a spoofed hit brought to Markus' attention as a result of this thread...the true location found as a result of IP search, and then corrected. But I could be wrong.
Re: You've GOT To Be Kidding Me...
The multiple bill entry page is a nice feature of TD in general, but especially on mobile. It is easy to accidentally hit the Lock Den. Series Next button though.
it is a pain to switch between the letter and number keyboards when entering serials. WG's feature where you can put all three letters at the front (or X and 2 letters for 2 letter serials) is especially useful there when not using the WG app.
It doesn't keep me logged in, but the WG webpage doens't either (though the WG app does)
Hamilton County NY is also a pain in the ass to get due to low population.
Fulton, Schenectady, Schoharie, Greene and Columbia are my other NY counties without WG hits.
17 for 62 with NY counties on TD, including 1 Schenectady but none of the other 5.
